Or do you want to know how to learn arabic so you have more understanding about the Qur'an that you read or the ayaat or surah that imam recites it during salah (prayer) ?Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala choose Arabic as the language of Al Qur'an for the guidance of mankind. So learning Arabic is important to understand the messages of Al Qur'an directly, compared to reading from a translation.
This page will guide you how to use this site to learn arabic.
- Niyyat that your learn arabic intention is for seeking the pleasure of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
- Please go to Download Page to download the books used for this course : Madinah Book 1,2, and 3 arabic text books, handouts, and English key softcopy. Print them to make hard copy for easy reference.
- Go to Your First Lesson of Madinah Arabic Course. Note : If you do not have any basic Arabic / Al Qur'an reading alphabet (characters) literacy, you may preview to learn IQRA' method here.
- Continue to next lessons by clicking the posts links in the sidebar / navigation bar or "Choose A Lesson" tab above the post. When you progressing the lessons, it will also build your arabic vocabulary and phrases too.
- Once you completed all Madina Book Videos 1, 2 and 3, you may continue the self study of Madina Arabic 4 and Arabic Advance Lessons which are contain the lesson of lexical and grammatical analysis of selected ayahs or surahs of Al Quran.
- For practicing your new Arabic speaking skills, you Arabic Conversation Drills Videos are available too.

Alhamdullillah for people like you, for giving these Arabic lessons free on line. I have just started and now still on Book 1, Lesson 3. So far the lessons are so clear and the teacher is so patient. MasAllah! I can't wait to study every day and I hope by the end of the year to make much progress in my Arabic and I can't wait to read the Quran with direct understanding of what I am reading! May Allah reward all of you, especially Shaykh Dr. V. Abdur Raheem, the teacher and all involved in this blog, in the production of the tutorials, etc.
